About Jodie

Also known as Jodes or Mum, I am deeply driven by the values of making a difference through curiosity, collaboration and adaptability. My vision is to ensure that all people with a disability live their best lives in our community.

My own experience with two additional needs children has seen me spend hundreds of hours pouring over NDIA legislation, Operational Guidelines and Rules to help my children with their NDIS Plans. From this, I am following my passion for assisting others in growing their knowledge and being in control of their own lives. To do this, I provide services that meet the needs of families, carers, and service providers that positively impact the lives of people living with a disability. Having already helped many families and carers set themselves up with solid NDIS plans, it has ensured they have the power to choose and have control of the outcome in their own hands.

In honour of my son Eli, who was just 15 weeks old when he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia and gained his wings at 13 months old, my husband Pete and I also run Eli's Foundation.

Elis's Foundation is a not-for-profit charity providing respite accommodation for children and their families who have cancer/leukaemia or are bereaved. Also known as "Melon's Cottage", Eli's legacy lives on and has supported over 150 families in the ten years of operation.

I am known for fostering strong relationships, collaboration and getting stuff done. Person-centred care is at the heart of everything I do. Recent facilitation and project management experience include:

• 10+ years in leadership roles in the Victorian public service
• A Bushfire Recovery Grant for the local community.
• Interactive facilitation of teams to explore their values and culture.
• Strategic planning and debriefing.
• Certificate IV in Disability

With my professional and personal experiences and my ability to 'cut through the red tape', seeing and setting people up for success is my biggest joy. If I do my job right, clients won't need me next year, and that's what sets me apart. I want you to grow and succeed and not need me. But, if you do, of course, I will be there. Your pace, your choice and your control… every time."
